New Dead Pocket Station Films by Kurt Axel

Kurt Axel fancies himself a budding Stanley Kubrick. How he makes that connection is beyond me. But, have a look.

First is a film that Kurt made called “Gary & Betty.” Gary is a big fan of the Dead Pocket Station. He claims to be its number one fan. He has ninja moves, impressive dance moves, and the tendency to exaggerate.

Then, an untitled film. Also by Kurt Axel.

    Dead Pocket Interviews

Kurt asked some neighbors in his building what they thought about the Dead Pocket Station. Here’s what a few had to say.

The Life & Times Of Nigel (Fit In)

The Life & Times of Nigel is produced very quickly. It takes about 15-20 minutes to do one panel. Here’s a glimpse into the process:

A New Clue To Alwart’s Past

New evidence has surfaced in the mystery shrouding the real identity of Alwart Grumus. It seems the man known now as Alwart Grumus (AKA Petey the Whistler AKA The Neck) once worked as a model. This advertisement for the popular Italian night club, Non Mangi Questo, is strong evidence to support the idea that Alwart spent some time in Europe.

    Ancient Secrets Revealed!

A recent archeological excavation has uncovered very surprising artifacts that reveal ancient translations of long-lost secrets. Dr. Irving Mosshammer recounts the magnitude of the find, “In ancient Babylon, the poets carved into thick stone blocks cut to roughly 4-inches by 6-inches.”

The stones found reveal what anthropologists, linguists, and dentists think is a ceremonial ritual of some kind. Possibly involving pigs.

Feliz Navidad, Feliz Navidad, Feliz Navidad, Prospero Año y Felicidad.

The closest experts have come to translating into English has resulted in this rough script:

Pick up a pig’s* head. Pick up a pig’s* head. Pick up a pig’s* head. A person who catches his mouth with a stick**.

The scientific world at-large has been positively receptive to the find, and somewhat encouraging about the shovel operator who developed a blister in the process.

Will modern archaeological finds reveal a history hidden for ages? Or will the secrets of the ancient world prove just another step on the long path of human kind?
